The Plan is a 6 year 3 week investment with the facility to pay out early if the three underlying indices, FTSE 100, S&P 500 and Nikkei 225, are all at or above their Initial Level on any anniversary of the start of the Plan.
If this happens the Plan will pay a growth payment of 19.0% for each year the Plan has been held, together with a full return of your original capital. For example, if a growth payment is triggered on the first anniversary the Plan would pay out 119% of your original capital. If not, the Plan would continue and if it then triggers on the second anniversary you would be paid 138% of your original capital. If not, the Plan continues and so on until the 6th anniversary.
If a growth payment is not triggered on any of the 5 anniversaries, the Plan provides a full return of capital at the end of the term, provided that no index has fallen by more than 50% at any close of business during the investment period. If any index falls by more than 50% and the Final Level of one or more indices is below its Initial Level then capital will be reduced by 1% for each 1% the Final Level of the worst performing index is below its Initial Level.
